for premiere it would be ok for HD. if doing 4k you may want to look at the gtx 1060 6gb.

photoshop would be fine with the gtx 1050 ti.

For Premiere Pro, the performance will be quite mediocre with that GPU: It has only 768 CUDA cores, and its memory throughput is an unimpressive 112 GB/second.

The ZOTAC  GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition (4GB GDDR5) is a solid entry-level GPU, and it will work with both Premiere Pro CC and Photoshop CC. For Photoshop, it’s more than capable-GPU acceleration will work fine for most features, especially things like zooming, rotating canvas, and some filters.

For Premiere Pro, it depends a bit more on your workflow. The GTX 1050 Ti can handle basic to moderate editing things like 1080p footage, light color correction, and some GPU-accelerated effects should run fine. Just don’t expect lightning-fast render times or smooth 4K performance; it’s more suited for entry-level or hobbyist use.

To get the most out of it, make sure you’ve got a solid CPU and at least 16GB of RAM to support your editing tasks. And if you're ever looking to upgrade or explore higher-end options especially older GPUs or even CRT monitors for color work Orange Hardwares is a great place to check out. They specialize in niche, quality gear that’s still highly relevant for creative professionals.

So overall yes, it’ll work well for creative work at a reasonable level.

Almost nine years too late for that response, I'm afraid. The GTX 1050 Ti was mediocre back in 2016, and is seriously outdated if not obsolete today. Newer versions of Premiere Pro hardware accelerate certain rendering features that older GPUs do not support, causing serious degradation of performance.
