Greetings

The video doesn't appear in the Program Panel nor the Source Panel. I've tried to change the Audio Hardware settings to MME but the only option is MME. Sometimes it works when I close my computer and wait like 20 minutes or more.

Can someone please help me with this?

Thank You

I am having this exact problem. Running on Windows 10 20H2. On a Dell Precision 7530 using a Intel(R) Xeon(R) E-2176M CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.71 GHz, 32GB RAM

I havent changed any settings but I open Pr and both panels show no video. I get audio and if I render the video it renders just fine. But I cant see the video in the panels to edit.

Hi Dale Griner!

Sorry about that. What's the source of the media files?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Kartika

Delete your cache files as follows. (Close Premiere Pro)
The files are located here, Paste the whole line below into File Explorer:
%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common

Simply delete the three folders:
•• Media Cache
•• Media Cache Files
•• Peak Files

Premiere Pro will automatically create the folders and files it needs as you edit. I do this before every upgrade. And/or if things seem to go strange. I also keep a desktop shortcut to this folder for quick access.

I am having exactly the same issue. No video appears on Source panel on double-clicking the video in Project window and no video appears in Program panel on playing Sequence in Timeline panel. Uninstalled via CC and reinstalled the app yesterday, but no success. Mine is Windows 10 Pro 64-bit version 1709 OS Build 16299.755 installed in a Samsung SSD, with 8 GB RAM. The software version is Adobe Premiere Pro 13.0.1 Build13. Graphics card is AMD Radeon HD 5450 with updated driver from the manufacturer's website. The video clip is a .mts file taken with Sony DSLR. Audio plays in both the panels but no video displays in the panels.error.JPG

Please help.

Has this been solved?  I have this problem as well on my main computer.  Tried older NVidia drivers, reinstalled CC etc. - no joy.  There are not error messags etc. - just no video, but audio works

Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers
Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter
nVidia Driver Downloads http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
-for Premiere Pro (and MAYBE Premiere Elements) use the STUDIO driver, not the GAMING driver
-such as (this MAY not be the latest) https://www.nvidia.in/Download/driverResults.aspx/177929/en-in
If you have a laptop you MAY also need to check for a laptop specific nVidia driver
ATI Driver https://www.amd.com/en/support
Intel https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/211969/Intel-HD-Graphics-Family

There are also intermittent reports that the newest driver is not always the best driver due to driver bugs or compatibility issues, so you MAY need to try an earlier driver version
