I've been using premiere pro for over a year now and this issue is recent. Off late any video file i import shows it's audio only, be it .mov, .mp4. Some of these same videos i've used before and they worked perfectly fine. I've cleared cache as instructed and switched to "software only" renderer. Nothing has helped. I'm closing in on my deadlines. Please help!

Audio only in the Project window or full clip with only audio on the timeline?

If its the latter:

Most common user error is not source patching the track.
Solved by first opening clip in Source Monitor, set in and out point. Then drag/insert into timeline.

The first file, I drag and dropped to create the sequence. But won't let me drag and drop the other videos because isn't recognising the video aspect of it.
