Hi,

I want to know the cause of my videos not playing smoothly after exporting it from premiere pro into my computer. After adding "warp stabilizer" effect on most of the clips and some transition effects,  as well as a downloaded lower third template. I use a hp 4GB ram, corei3 laptop.

The issue has been solved. All I did was to change the Video Encoding Settings performance option from Hardware Encoding to Software Encoding, then exported and it played smoothly. Thanks, guys for your replies though.

warp stabilizer, transitions and the downloaded lower third do not affect playback smoothness

of an exported video. what affects playback is which format and resolution you used for export,

and of course, the bitrate. Can you give us more info concerning these settings?

Also, I noticed that for the downloaded third templates, it doesn't render, the red line on the timeline doesn't change to yellow. What do I do?

can you switch to GPU acceleration renderer in project settings?

if greyed out you need to update your graphics card from the vendor's site.

please try to export to something other than H.264, like QuickTime GoPro Cineform YUV 10 bit

or MPEG 2

I use a hp 4GB ram, corei3 laptop.

Might not be able to handle PP and probably highly compressed footage properly.

I’m struggling with choppy playback after exporting my video, I’ve tried exporting with Media Encoder and Premiere Pro and it plays back choppy, but in premiere pro on the timeline it’s fine. I’ve turned off proxies when exporting, all my settings should be correct, I just cannot figure out why it’s doing this -- trying the software encoding solution and praying it works! Will update
