video view stuttering

I don't know if I switched something or not but after adding a video snippet suddenly premiere pro doesn't play on the video view or it does it very slowly.
deleting the scene doesn't do anything, when I open another project it is the same,
on the old version i don't have something like this probably i clicked something.
clicking enter does not do anything

only when I save it the image changes

I would try pressing enter to render your timeline. I'd also go into preferences/media and disk cache and use the tools to delete the disk cache.

You are looking at the Reference Monitor (which does not play the timeline) instead of the Program monitor.

Reset Workspace.
