Passwords got changed for one my clients Vimeo account.

Now when I open the Vimeo Panel it just spins and spins and all options are greyed out?

Do I need to trash prefs and start over?

How do I solve this?

Asking FB group as well to see which has the faster reponse.

Thanks

Richard

Hey Richard,

Seems like trashing the preferences would do the trick. Are you on a Mac or Windows machine?

Another thing you could maybe try would just be to re-install the plugin and that might do the trick. The download link is at the bottom of this page: Adobe Premiere Pro panel | Vimeo

Let me know if that works,

Matt

Any clue as to why this would happen? Premiere is a constant pain. Never quite works right for long.

My recommendation is to your NLE for editing, and a browser or FTP program for file uploading.

That kind of defeats the purpose of the new Vimeo panel feature. I have clients that have there own Vimeo accounts and require me to upload to them.

Also I can finish my revisions and the Vimeo panel automatically exports and uploads for me. An extra step I donot have todo. So I can set it and forget it.

When I edit I am always looking to reduce the number of keystrokes and tasks to get to the finish line. Unless you are charging an an Hourly rate It makes sense to get it done efficiently.

Agreed.  But in my view, it's functionality that should never have been added to an NLE.

Use the right tool for the job, I say.  Edit with your NLE.  Upload with a browser or FTP.

It's a view that for the most part, just plain works.
