Hey guys,
I already tried to find solutions in the community area but there was nothing suitable or the solutions were "bugs" or very old.
Well the problem I have with the warp stabilizer is, that if I have a clip which contains a decent amount of camera movement from left to right or vice versa (ex. a car passes by quickly or a plane etc.) and a tall object in the foreground like a light post enters the frame, the stabilizer jumps and creates weird jump/cuts even though the raw footage is already quite smooth. I tried many different options on this. I tried to reduce the stabilization to 10% then nest the clip, and put another stabilizer on the nested clip. I tried many different settings for the methods or the other parameters but the result sucks in most cases...
A year ago the stabilizer didn't have any problems with this.
Maybe someone of you has got a solution or at least an explanation.
Thanks and kind regards
Florian
Warp Stabilizer is designed to stabilize hand held camera footage.
It's not designed for footage with a descend amout of movement.
You can try:
Mask on subject in clip
Nest
Add WS
When finished deleted mask (or turn off opacity) in the nest.

Hello.
I don't understand the purpose of this effect (Warp Stab) at all. It does not improve, but only worsens. You need to write to developers so that they release a new effect that works according to other algorithms. Unfortunately for me, when working with this effect, the picture on the image floats and falls apart like jelly. Terribly

Are you using "Position" as the method?
When I first began and didn't know how this effect works I had the same problem. I then switched the method and it worked very good, apart from the main problem I was adressing at the beginning.
Kind regards!

An interesting solution Ann.
We need to take a note. I will test it as soon as possible.
But, in general, I am not happy with the work of this plugin.
Thanks
