I'm currently editing a short interview on Prem and the cameras don't have any built-in audio, so an editor had to mannualy sync up the audio with the clips. The audio they used are WAV files and there's a total of 4 channels. Now, when I edit the interivews and have finished for the day, I save the project and close the programme down. When I re-open the project the next day, the audio 'media start' resets, which means everythig is out of sync and the time I took to edit that before, has gone to waste. I've looked into this as much as I can and unforunately cannot find any resolutions. I can only think that this is a bug issue? For any Prem audio gurus out there, please can you help me, as this is getting annoying and wasting my time when I could be editing the video. Thanks!

I am having almost the same problem.
I have edited a 10 min film which included wav audio files.
When sending the project file to my partner she is having a huge problem with all the audio files that are wav format.
Every part I trimmed and used in my timeline from those wav files, just starts from time 0. Although my original project is correct, I opened the project I did send to my partner and I saw exactly what she was dealing with...
We are trying to figure out why this is happening and we believe that somehow Premiere loses the information (timecode?) which helps the software to know from which min/sec until which min/sec from the total file duration, I've taken each part.
If I convert the files in mp3 or if I try to relink in any way those files, deleting cache/peak files and everything, the only thing I am doing is destroying my original project which works as intended!
So I know how to replicate the problem, I just don't know how to solve it...
Last but not least I am trying hard not to destroy my original project that still works.
Any clues?Some help?
