Hello everyone,

I'm quite new to using Premiere pro and when trying to export a small video clip I am getting a large green box under the video. I have updated drivers and gone through and made sure everything was up to date. Any advice at all would be appreciated.

*warning clip is pretty loud*

System is an 8700k with a 1080.

Sequence setting are in the screenshot below and export settings seems to have no effect no matter what I change it to.

Thanks,

Alex

File > Project Settings > General

then change the renderer dropdown to anything different to what it is currently.

try another export and see if it still happens?

If it's still happening please get back to us with more info on your system and:

  • can you post screenshots of your timeline and preview monitors?
  • also go to Sequence > Sequence settings and post a screenshot of that.

I've tried and gone through what has felt like every dropdown selection for the export and I get the same effects.

Appreciate the quick response!

Did you try changing the renderer in Project Settings? (not export settings).

do you have access to Adobe Media Encoder?  That might fix your export if it's caused by a user setting in Premiere Pro.

Still weird though.  If you don't get anywhere further I can only recommend Jim Simon's excellent troubleshooting guide:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/unofficial-premiere-pro-troubleshooting-guide/m-p/878920...

In particular, note steps 1A, 2B, 2D, 2E, 2F, 2H
