What are some good apps for managing my video footage?

I'm using a MacBook Pro. What are some of the better media managment apps out there? I tried Lightroom Classic and although it does show thumbnails of my media files, it doesn't do much besides that. I think it does preview the clip but I can't right click and edit in Premeir Pro.

Have you tried Adobe Bridge? From my experience there aren't many (if any) media asset managers designed for non-enterprise consumers.
