When cutting footage in timeline, previous clip randomly go black. Version 24.1 AND version 23.6.2

When cutting footage in the timeline, previous clip will randomly go black. I know it's a bug because if I reverse the cut, get the clip to show up properly again and then exit and reopen Premiere and do the same cut, the previous clip that had gone black has no issue now. I've had to exit Premiere Pro several times today because of this issue. I have the most up to date version (at least it says no further updates are available). I have access to both version 23.6.2 and version 24.1 and it is currently happening on both versions of the program. Platform is Windows and Version is 11.

Hey Jolene,

I'm sorry to hear about this. I'm moving this thread to the Discussions section for troubleshooting purposes. Do you see this issue with a specific file type? Please also try temporarily disabling third-party plugins (Here's how: https://adobe.ly/48L4NMy). Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Ishan
