When doing control + arrow keys to nudge the shapes, it doesn't work.

So basically whenever I use the control + arrow key shortcut which should nudge the shapes according to an arrow key, it doesn't work. I kinda got it to partially work but when I especially tick the position in the transform  thing in effect controls, it just all out stops working completely. Please fix.

Steps:
1. Create a shape on the timeline

2. Go to the transform section of the shape and tick position.

3. Try using Control + Arrow Keys to move the shape.

Thats literally what I did and it isn't working for me. It should move the shape but it doens't.

Make sure the shape and the Program Monitor is selected.

I am pretty sure that both the shape and the program monitor is selected. There is a blue outline of the window for the program monitor and the shape is selected

Hi @Vendex64 You do not need to do step 2. You are right that the keyboad shortcut will not work when the position field is in number entry mode.

This feature works intermittent.

Need to be careful which panel is selected, and then it not always does what it supposes to do.

Right so how do I fix that? Because what I want to do is to be able to track certain things on my video with a shape and going frame by frame to make sure that the circle is always moving with the thing that I want to track.

Can you show a screen shot of the state when it is not working? If you have the position value activated for typing, for example, then that will capture the arrow keys and no nudge will happen. Or if the blue focus ring is not on the right panel.

Also at the end of the video I sent the whole app actually freezes then resumes it is so weird. It always happens aswel, it keeps freezing.

Also it keeps freezing aswel when I even click on the shape sometimes which never used to happen so please don't say it is a performance issue.

Try turning this on - on the Progam Monitor lower part:

@MyerPj The direct manipulation button won't select a shape within a graphic it will only select the graphic.

As I see it, this feature only works when the object (shape) and program monitor or propeties panel is highlighted.

No they are highlighted, look at latest screenshot

In the screen shot, the blue ring is around the Timeline, not the Program Monitor or the Properties Panel. That is why the nudge is not enabled. If you click into either of the other panels, it will work.
