I haven't used Premiere for ages but I've come back to it to simply put some music on a video, but everytime any sort of audio no matter the size, whether on the timeline or not will completely lag the whole program. I've tried smaller audio files, I tried a different video file with audio and it all seems to lag me out really bad to the point I can't even edit.

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?
What operating system?
What version of Premiere Pro?
If NVIDIA graphics, make sure to use the latest Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver).

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
16 GB RAM
MSI RTX 3060 X
I've literally just updated my Premiere to the most recent as for operating system it's just Windows 10.
How would I make sure the studio driver is installed?

I've managed to find and it the studio driver made it even worse. I imported my video in and no preview of it within the thumbnail and the preview window at all.
