when i export this file i can't hear the audio

hello i have an mp3 and i just wanted to used premiere to turn the mp3 into a video with only pne picture, but when i export i don't hear any adudio, i chose AVI on the export menu and export audio and video, i don't know what happened, any advice?

Convert the mp3 to wav before importing into Premiere Pro.

Why are you exporting to avi?

How will you be playing the exported video?
