White boarder appearing around the edge of scaled footage

Hi, trying to make a 2D swarm of bats flying across the screen (just playing around). When I play it back these white lines appear around the edge of the bats. How do I remove it? The bats are white on a transparent background.

Sorry to hear about this. Let us know the version of Premiere Pro & the system specs. Have you tried switching the Renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only & checked if it's working properly?

I guess you already tried to render your effects by pressing enter ? 

Did you try to nest your footage ? Maybe it can fix it ? 

Also, can you still see these white lines after the export ? 

To find your WIN or MAC spec the best you can do is to look online what to do to find them.

Yep, I rendered it, still white lines. Nesting didn't fix it either. I can still see the lines after export.

What format are the original 'bats' in? Photoshop, PNG, Illustrator file?

Is it possible that the white lines are in the original image but hard to see due to the transparent BG?

Maybe have a close look at them in Photoshop.

They bats were made in after effects and exported as MP4.

I inverted the original file in AE, exported it to premiere and inverted the colours back. For some reason that removed the lines. Not sure why but it worked.
