I have upgraded to the new version of Adobe Premiere Pro 22.0. And when converting to proxy footages with HLG color space in QuickTime ProRes low resolution. The footages are converted to Rec 720. The footage becomes bright and with an incorrect display of the color space. I think it's in support so that they fix it in the next updates. How to solve the problem at the moment?

Hi YUDIN,

Sorry to hear about this. If this project was created in the previous version of Premiere Pro, please try these steps & check if it helps.

  • Right-click on the media file in the Project panel.
  • Select Modify > Interpret Footage.
  • Under Color Management, set Color Space Override to Rec. 709 & click OK.

Let us know if restores the correct preview.

Thanks,

Sumeet

Thank you so much for your help! Just how to be at the stage of color correction, it will not be very convenient to constantly convert these footages back from Rec.709 to HLG 2100. Because when I interpret these footages in Rec 709, the sources themselves greatly change the saturation, and everything is fine with the proxy, they are the right color as the sources.  Of course, this is not convenient, I hope Adobe will solve the problem with this in the next update. It's just more convenient to apply the color already on the proxy to see what happens.( Thanks for the help!
