Why does noise take such incredibly long time to render?

I add 20-30% noise to say 5 minutes of video and it takes like an hour to either render sellection or finish exporting the video.

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

i7 13700k, RTX 3090 24gig Vram, 64 gig DDR 5 ram,  M2 512gig drive. (half full) M2 1Tb 400gig left)
My Permpire pro is on C drive(the 500gig drive), but the source video clips and finished video is saved on the 1TB drive. I don't know if that can affect speed.

Try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from NVIDIA's site. Do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver).
