Why not two subtitle lines/bars?

I just updated to the newest Premiere Pro version and found that it doesn't seem to be possible to have two subtitle lines/bars (i.e. text on black background bar, dived in two lines). This is standard in any movie, so why doesn't that work with Premiere Pro, like it did in previous versions?

This is available in the PR 2022 Release. With the caption selected in the timeline, in the Essential Graphics Panel, look at the "Appearance" section. Click on the "wrench" icon; the "Grahics Properties" dialogue appears. Under "Basckground Styles," "Fill Mode:" pick "Per-Line."
