why video can span 1 frame?

When working in audio units, you can zoom in way more than the time span of a video frame.
And that is this this is both necessary and useful.

I'm haivng trouble understanding the question.
Is your audio linked to the video? If audio is linked to the video and the audio is already extended into the next clip, you may be unable to extend the video. For example, this happens when you apply time remapping.

On the device I was on earlier, I didn't see this with the details I do now.
Stan may be right ... or another possibility, that audio is "slipped" just a bit from the spot on the original recording.
