I recently had a laptop upgrade to a dell 5690. After installing CC, and running the current version of Premiere, I got the Intel driver out-of-date prompt, 'continue with known issues or update driver'. I chose the latter, and followed the provided link, and installed that driver. Stopped getting the error message. Then, halfway through an edit, the screen went black, the machine froze and had to be forced shutdown. It would no longer reboot, tried every recovery remedy, and I ultimately had to have IT completely rebuild the OS. Currently running it 'with known issues', not that there is any warning as to what those issues might be...
Hi @dpalkowski3,
Sorry you're experiencing issues. There is a known problem where a Windows update is actually installing an older version of the driver. Does it sound like the problems described in the thread here?
Intel has steps to fix this issue in the following link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000087834/graphics.html
Sorry for the frustration,
Dani
