Wound not exporting as I head on timeline

I am at a loss.

I am editing a project on Premiere Pro V22.0 (new update) and on a MacBook 16inch Pro.

I have never had this issue before!

I have edited a 2 minute promo which features snippets of interview. In original files and in the time line - they sound crisp and clear. When I export, it is tinny and horrid. I am exporting my normal settings I have for many years now.

ACC - 48000 Hz, stereo, 320 bitrate.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Premiere Pro seems to be getting worse in updates no better! I had to spend hours researching why when I colour grade it looks amazing in timeline and awful when I export because I shoot in SLOG. Luckily I found a YouTube that fixed this. But we shouldn’t be having to ‘fix’ things!

What happens when you export to an other codec? Like QuickTime. Is the issue still there?
