wrong video track linked to audio

when i alt+drag a video to a new track, its the copy linked to the audio. How can i correct this so the original video remains linked to audio, and the new copy video is NOT ???

Alt+drag from the source monitor an make sure just the audio is selected.

if i select the audio, then alt+drag will move the audio !! my question asks how to duplicate *video* to a new track, and leave the original video linked to its audio.
my work around is to duplicate the video to the track above. then move original to the 3rd track above that, then move both videos down a track. now my unlinked copy is available for editing/moving/allsorts with messing the originals...
