Hi - my fujifilm xt4 footage is 4k MPEG h.265 lpcm HEVC 10-bit (full range) with rec. 601 color space. When I import in premiere v22.0, my color is way off (skin tones orange / oversaturated) and the image is overcontrasted. I have done alot of research on this with a lot of people suggesting an override within premiere and modifying the footage to rec.709. While this seems to work for sony users or others, it seems fujifilm xt4 footage can't be switched to rec.709 (https://www.eoshd.com/news/when-will-adobe-fix-premiere-it-kills-fuji-footage-and-cant-edit-canon-10...). I have tried placing a full-to-legal 10 bit LUT over the footage and while this seems to make improvements, the footage still isn't as beautiful or the same as pre-import. I am making use of the film simulations within camera and did not shoot in f-log.
I have found online LUTs that are purporting to fix this color space problem: https://www.eoshd.com/dynamic-range-enhancer-h264-h265/
Does this seem legit? Does anyone else specifically know how to fix this problem for xt4 footage?
Thanks!
