Hi, some of my clients asks for this type of subtitle where every words get colored and bigger once it gets said during the video(see the attached video).

I'm doing that manually now (keyframing the source text) and was wondering if there is a way to make it more "automated" where is just change the words and the animation still the same.

any ideas and thanks you in advance!

Thanks for the message. Nothing automatic, Omar. Sorry. You can create an effects preset using the Transform effect or Scale parameters. Once applied, you can duplicate the captions on a new track and choose a new color. Then create add edits (using an add edit function or razor splice) when the text finishes scaling. Then remove the splices. Would that work?

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks for replying, I tried this suggested method and it did work (I also used the crop effect if anyone wants to try) but I still think keyframing the source text is more convenient.
it would be sick if we get a "source animation" function (similar to the source text) in the future that can be added to a text layer and be animated withour affecting the text.
