Ability to turn the new Essential Sound icons/labels off in 24.4.1

Can the new Essential Sound icons/labels be turned off? I keep accidentally clicking them, which opens the Essential Sound panel and disrupts my workflow.

Sorry, Mia. I am unaware of a way to turn them off. Feel free to file a feature request, @miaallen for that.
