Every year or so I blow my ears out by accidentally pumping audio gain 90db or 110db. It's human error, but I think there needs to be a safety warning (even if that warning is optional in preferences) when adjusting audio gain by very large volumes.
I'll explain my situation:
When working on audio I'm likely to working on the gain of clips and speed of clips in the timeline. (For example, changing a SFX to 110% so it sounds slightly different to another instance of it)
Occasionally I'l hit the gain hotkey instead of the speed hotkey and unwittingly type 90 or 110. This causes playback to be so loud my hands fly to my headphones and knock them off my head before I know what's happened.
