Automate to Sequence / Numbered Images

It would be useful, if there was an option to automatically order numbered images in the correct order, when importing a folder of images, named as diagram1, diagram2,....diagram10, diagram11 and so on. Currently, the user has to click through the images in the folder in the correct order up to 9, then continue from 10... Thanks.

Does it change if 1-9 are numbered diagram01, diagram02...

That might work too, however for existing projects, it would require to edit a bunch of folders and locate the Link Media... Thanks!

Yes, that would the case for existing project. Hopefully you've already done that part in them.

Advanced Renamer. You can setup a preset and just put those files in  and press a button and you are done!

I just used it yesterday. I was downloading an mp3 from YT. And it comes out with every word seperated with and _ underscore. I had be just drudging thru it, but setup a preset yesterday to remove all underscores and replace them with a space.

Not like Advanced Renamer. Which is available free to individuals, and has most of the features of the paid personal version. Since it's so good, I did license it.

I meant to reply to the previous comment. Why does this forum have a Reply feature, if it only appends the reply after the latest post by anyone joining in between...

Most of us Community "experts" use the top blue Reply button so all the posts are placed in the main thread. I have my thread sort order set to oldest first, and does not show indented replies only oldest to newest.

If you want to reply to a specific comment use the little reply button on that comment.

I don't think there is a threaded view for Bugs and Ideas.... There is a "settings" link near the beginning of discussion threads where can set threaded or linear, but it is not there for Bug and Idea threads.

But even in the discussions, often posts get moved from other threads etc, so I now always use the @mention for the person I'm replying to, and give a quote if I don't think it will be clear from my response what I'm addressing.

Good to know @Stan Jones , having the default set to threaded always seemed problematic to me, as new users would get that, and we are typically using linear. I didn't know it was different for Bugs and Ideas. Thanks.

Also, when copy/pasting several folders together in the media browser, it first pastes them in random order. Probably reopening the project, they'd be in alphabetical order.

Is there a way to change the imported media folder structure, without loosing the sequence? For example, if several media folders are inside a folder, but would prefer to have all the folders in the main browser level?
