Problem:
In Adobe Premiere Pro, the Quick Export button or panel appears too dim or unreadable, even though your accessibility color contrast preferences are enabled.
Solution 1: Change the Interface Brightness (Theme)
1. Open Premiere Pro.
2. Go to
Edit > Preferences > Appearance
(or on Mac: Premiere Pro > Preferences > Appearance)
3. Under Appearance, move the Brightness slider to the right to make the UI brighter.
4. Make sure Use Legacy Color Management is unchecked.
5. Click OK and restart Premiere.
Solution 2: Enable Accessible Contrast Colors
Even if your system has accessibility contrast enabled, Premiere may not follow it automatically.
1. Go to Preferences > Appearance.
2. Enable Use System Color Contrast (if available).
3. If nothing changes, adjust the brightness and color sliders manually until text and icons look readable.
Solution 3: Adjust Display or HDR Settings
Some displays (especially HDR or OLED monitors) make Premiere’s dark UI look even darker.
Try disabling HDR in your display or Windows settings.
Or enable Display Color Management inside Premiere:
Go to Preferences > General > Enable Display Color Mana
gement.
Solution 4: Reset Premiere Preferences
If the issue persists:
1. Close Premiere.
2. While reopening it, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) until you see a dialog asking to Reset Preferences.
3. Confirm — this restores default settings and often fixes UI visibility problems.
Extra Note
In recent versions (Premiere 2024–2025), some users reported that the Quick Export button color doesn’t change with the interface theme. Adobe is working on a fix.
For now, switching your system theme to Light Mode can make the button more visible.
