Can we get an Option to Bring in LLM to Transcribe - or Just Fix Transcriptions?

It's really simple. Transcriptions are not correct. But if I use almost any other major transcription service, the accuracy is a lot more useable. And if I can't trust the language I can read, I definitely cannot trust a language I cannot.

Simple example - My brand is called "Geekazine". Transcriptions have done "Geek is in", "Geek Ezine", "Geek align", "Geek scene", "Geek cuisine" and other variations. Never has it done "Geekazine".

- Premiere Pro has yet to get this correct.

- If I use any other AI transcription service, when I say "Geekazine", it shows up as "Geekazine"

- I use Vibe - an Open source transcription program - https://thewh1teagle.github.io/vibe/

It also gives me accurate SRT and text files.

- Even my Name "Jeffrey Powers" gets transcribed incorrect a lot of the times. I am not in the UK, so not sure why I'm seeing the English "Geoffrey".  I am not "Geoffrey Perez", or "Jeffrey Pow is".

Audio from my videos is fairly clean and free from noise. Articulation is pretty good. You can watch any of my videos to see what it sounds like.

So with that said, I would like to see options to bring in other LLMs (since they are accessable to download and use from Github). I would like to use some transcription service that makes me feel more confident in using the services in Premiere.

Instead of having to change "Geekazine" every single time.

@geekazine,

There are a variety of complaints about accuracy, especially when it relates to adjusting to technical or specialty language.

The Workaround: create a single paragraph, no timecode version of the entire external transcription, end with one return, and save as a .txt file. Create a transcription in PR and don't worry about the accuracy. You can now "import corrected transcript" and it will use the PR timings.

I downloaded your video on the CUKTECH GaN Charger and used the YouTube autotranscription as the "external."

PR demonstrated your problems with: geek is Ian

But it got your name right this time!

After import corrected, the external transcript is used, and the timings are correct.

Now to get your nice animated captions, you're back to a third-party plugin or such.

Stan
