Choosing subtitle track for export

Explorer ,
Apr 09, 2025 Apr 09, 2025

1. Need choose option in window File - Export - Captions for subtltles

2. In the export tab, I can't select export ONLY subtitle tracks, only audio + subtitles or video + subtitles. This is very inconvenient.
3. I also need a function to export all tracks one by one in 1 click to srt or another format (C2 on the timeline - file 1, C1 - file 2, etc.)

@Lev_3q9048,

I support more flexiblity. Following are my comments on the current functionality. With the 25.2 update, features added include caption track translation (multiple languages in one step) and enabling of multiple caption tracks. And no question: if I have 6 caption tracks, each in a different language, I'd want to be able to issue one command to export all 6.

But for now, only one sidecar can be exported at a time. I have not determined which track of multiples is being selected.

File -> Export -> Captions exports a sidecar for a caption track from a sequence selected in the timeline or the Project Panel. It will be greyed out if you select a sequence with no caption tracks.

The type of sidecar depends on the type of caption track: Subtitle format only allows export of SRT. EBU format allows XML, STL, and SRT.

Still looking at this.

Stan
