Copy from Bin, Paste to Timeline

Instant rough cut.

Even in 2023, I can't find anything close to this action:

-  Go through a bin's selected clips to establish rough in and out points, or select complete head-tail clips.

-  COPY selected Bin clips in either list or storyboard view.

-  Swich to timeline. PASTE to see an instant rought cut in list order

  OR

-  in whatever storyboard order the user arranges.

All preliminary in-out marks honored. Result is linked video audio pairs strung together on a single video/audio track.

Haven't seen this since Avid and FCP work. It's a powerful timesaver.

Best as always,
Loren

Not sure if you are looking for this:

Go to the icon view and set in and out points for the clips you want to use.

Make sure Hover Scrub is selected.

Put them in a bin (or they are already in a bin) and drag the bin to the timeline.
