Hey Adobe Team,
I’m touching base to talk about an area in Premiere Pro that I think could use some enhancement: batch exporting. While Premiere is doing great as an NLE, it feels like it’s missing out on some batch export functionalities that other software, particularly those geared towards finishing like DaVinci Resolve, Scratch, and Baselight, handle quite smoothly.
Someone recently pointed out to me that the reason Premiere might lack these functionalities is that it's primarily an NLE, unlike Resolve which leans more into finishing tasks. That made a lot of sense, especially considering that other NLEs like Avid and FCPX also don’t focus much on this feature.
However, given the evolving roles in post-production where editors frequently need to juggle finishing tasks as well, adding a robust batch export feature that handles effects like Lumetri Color adjustments could really elevate Premiere’s game. It would help us save time and streamline workflows by avoiding cumbersome workarounds like nesting each clip or exporting entire sequences and chopping them down.
I believe integrating an "Include All Effects" option in the export panel or a way to select multiple clips from the timeline for export with their respective adjustments and effects retained would make Premiere Pro a powerhouse for not just cutting but complete post-production workflows.
Thanks for considering this feature request. It would be awesome to see Premiere step up on this front in a future update!
Thanks,
Nacho
