please add a key command that moves any slider up or down while the mouse hovers over the slider. it should be possible to determine which slider the mouse is over with the tooltip UX element.
why?
the user can click and drag a slider (i.e. lumetri), but that is pretty unprecise, because PP doesn't move the slider until a certain mouse movement threshold is reached. this is often frustrating since the user ends up with sudden gigantic changes. this is often true for complex PP projects where the UX is more affected by PP background processes, but may not show as such in simple projects. hitting a precise number with mouse click&drag is difficult. alternatively, the user can click into the number field, and use the up/down arrow with modifiers to change the values.
most advanced users have additional input devices (i.e. shuttle express, DR panels, mousewheels, touchpads etc), where keyboard functions can be mapped. by allowing a PP keyboard shortcut to move a hover-over slider to move without a click, allows the user to map that to i.e. a mechanical dial, to adjust the slider value (or simply mapping the mouse scroll wheel to move the slider)
this would make grading, and general PP work faster and less frustrating.
