Feature Request: Right-Click to Modify Footage in Timeline
Description
As a video editor, I often find myself needing to modify footage in the timeline, especially when I need to turn a clip into slow motion. Currently, the only way to modify footage is to go to the Project panel, which can be time-consuming and disrupts the editing flow. Therefore, I would like to suggest a new feature that allows users to right-click on a clip in the timeline and select "modify footage" to change the frame rate or interpret footage. This new feature would help speed up the editing process and improve the user experience.
Benefits
- Saves time by allowing users to modify footage directly in the timeline
- Improves the editing flow and user experience
- Makes it easier to turn clips into slow motion or adjust the frame rate
- Increases productivity and efficiency
How it Works - Right-click on a clip in the timeline
- Select "modify footage" from the list of options
- Change the frame rate or interpret footage in the Modify Clip dialogue box
- Click "OK" to apply the changes
By adding this feature, Adobe Premiere Pro can become even more user-friendly and efficient, making it the go-to software for video editing.
