how do I reposition a audio track to have it higher in the timeline

I have 9 audio tracks in my sequence. I want to move A9 up to be below A3 for example so that my sound effects order makes more sense when editing. How do I do that? There doesn't seem like there is an easy way. You would think you would be able to drag the whole lyer/track up or down.

Is there a way to do that?

Hey Tony,

That sounds like a feature request. I will move your post to the Ideas forum. Sorry for the hassle.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi @tony,

If I am understanding what you want to do, it's not possible. You can do such a thing in Audition. Otherwise, you have to make a new track and paste the contents from one place to another. Sorry about that.

Thanks,
Kevin
