If there's a a way to convert line text to paragraph text vice-versa

Line to box:

1. Copy the text
2. Click/drag to create the box
3. Click inside box
4. Ctrl/Cmd-V to paste text.

To go box to line:

1. Copy text
2. Click on spot not in the box
3. Ctrl/Cmd-V to paste text.

In newer versions, there's now an option in the property/essential graphics panel to change from paragraph to Point text. I'm not sure, but I believe it is one of the wrench icons.
