New audio crossfades handles in premiere suck

The new audio crossfade handles in premiere suck. It keeps selecting the clip when I'm selecting the handle. This wasn't an issue with the previous handles, they were easily selectable

I brought this same thing up the other day and amazingly, an Adobe rep actually replied and said they'd pass feedback on about where you select it.

I discovered that the 'hitbox' or clickable area of the crossfade is actually the same zone as it was with the coloured box of previous versions, but visually the crossfade takes up more room than the box (extending down to the bottom of the clip) while the hitbox remains the same box we've used forever. Very confusing update tbh
