A Remix tool for video would allow you to take a video on the timeline and drag it down to the desired length in order to condense it down to a few key moments/shots. You could use this on complete videos made up of many shots (in which case it would trim out a few shots that define the essence of the video. Or it could be used on a single shot, in which case it would locate the most interesting bit and generate your select.
Good for highlight reels where your source material might be a bunch of 3-4 minute videos, and you just need a key shot or two of each. AI would be able to grab the essence of that video in 1-3 shots, for example. This will quickly allow you to get to a rough cut stage.
