Relink Offline Directly In Media Browser

Is there way to relink offline media directly in media browser so I can selectively ingest (copy) footage from camera directories on archive drives or other premiere pro projects on library drives.

If not, there should be. And while we are at can we unburry the ingest destination file directoy settings from deep in a dialog box to the media browser.

Another fantastic item would be having subclips come back on line when you relink the master clips they were derrived from.

Media management in Premier is TRASH. Can't even find decent work arounds. Coming from an Avid environment where this is a true strength. Other warts in Media Composer but professional media management is a must have. Premiere is just hacked together when it comes to that.

A little more detail. 

I want to relink media that's offline from within the media browser without having to open the project with that media separately and relink within the project. It would also be great to be able use my bin view presest to change the headings in media browser.

Also. Is there anyway to stop Premiere from resetting the clip names to their default when you ingest (copy) from media browser.

Basically I have these library projects where tons of footage have been logged, named, given heading metadata, and subclipped. When I need to use some of this material in other projects I want to browse for the clips I want in media browser and then ingest to my current project (and move a copy of the source media to my working drive). The library projects live on different drives which is why I want to ingest. And I don't want entire directories of footage when I just need a few clips, which is why I want to do it through the media browser.

This type of thing isn't even needed in Avid environment. Sharing bins, clips, and etc among projects is simple, flexible, and fast. And because of it's actively cataloged media databases, relinking isn't usually a thing.
