Sync map in Premiere Pro

It would be immensely helpful for Premiere Pro to be able to automatically build a sync map for me and automatically create multicam clips by selecting a day's worth of footage (multiple cameras) and a day's worth of production audio. Similar to Avid's "auto sequence" function.

If you grab a bin worth of media, and there are several different camera clips that go with one separate audio, and other clips matching a different one, Premiere will make separate multicams of each "set" it sees.

I don't know if you were aware of that.

That's extremely helpful! I thought I had to manually select each set. Very glad Adobe that programmed the computer to do some of these tasks that computers are better than humans at.

Can Premiere create a sync map from a group of video and sound clips I select? That can also be extremely helpful.

Yes, that's the idea, ie: to create a multicam clip. You might want to put those selected elements into their own bin in the project and then select the bin to create the multicams.
