Hey Team

 

So I am not a techy, so I was hoping to put out my laptop specs and get some feedback how I can improve it so my laptop wont crash while editing 4K and all this juicy footage the Sony A7s 3 pumps out....

 

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz, 2201 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)

 

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 32.0 GB

 

Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050

 

Any advice would be great

H.264 can be hard on a 24 core CPU. As of now Quick Sync and Nvenc cannot encode and decode certain variations of H.264. The new 10nm Intel desktop CPUs should play more variations of H.264.
