14.5 Premiere Crash During Project Launch

Nearly everytime I try launching a current project file, the loading bar pops up but never makes it to completion. I then get an error from windows saying Premiere is not responding. The project file was made in Premiere 14.5 so I do not suspect anything sort of issue with conversion from older versions of Premiere.

System specs:

OS: Windows 10 64-bit

CPU: Intel i9-9900K @3.60GHz

Memory: 32GB Corsair DDR4

Graphics: Asus Geforce RTX 2070 Super

Storage: 2TB internal SSD (although all of my projects I work on are stored on external G-Tech 10TB HDD)

Hi Rob,

Yes, that is the only solution I've found thus far. Relaunch Premiere first and then open the project file from within the program rather than launching the program with the project file.

You may want to try having Premiere open and then try opening the project through Media Browser and see if this work-around helps.

I went through with uninstalling and reinstalling Premiere and I am still running into the same issue.
