15.1 not responding

Help please (one week into revisions on program for network delivery)

No projects created in 15 or auto saves from the 15 folder will open in 15 after update to 15.1

(though 14 projects open ok in 14.8)

all was fine on 15 until yesterday, after update to 15.1 I noticed really strange audio glitches and video would not play unless rendered.

now nothing opens.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled the update but this did not work

It looks like a week of work will have to be re done in 14 if this not fixed today.

Was there a reason for updating so close to a deadline?

If this does not work go back to 15.0 or 14.8 and finish the job.

UPDATE

this has not been fixed completely.

The last few days no projects will open until I have cleaned the cache completely of the cache files from the day before,
