This may be a dumb one to ask...but this is how you learn!

I'm using Snaggit to record some flight simulation (DCS World) and I see Snaggit is capturing the 3840 x 2160 video fine.  When I open Adobe Premiere, pull my clips in and begin to Export Media, I see the Summary shows the Source Sequence as 1920x1080 (1.0)

I'm stumped as to why it isn't showiung the proper resolution...could it be the fps being under 24?

Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot the properties of your media in tree view:

If the file is variable frame rate, which although Adobe says it will support, many users are having issues with VFR.

Use Hand brake to convert to constant frame rate:

I am not sure what is happening. Having said that if you have an Nvidia GPU Shadowplay will work with Premiere Pro just fine and it is free.
