a beeping noise when I import the files in the premiere pro-2020

I am having a beeping noise when I import the files in the premiere pro-2020. The files are working fine when I play in the VLC. But soon as I play in the premier, the audio has a high pitch beep noise. Please help me out with this.

- tried deleting the project

- tried clearing the cache files

- tried restarting the computer.

Check audio hardware in the pref: set default input to none.

I did. Still not working. I'm using my AirPod pro.

Try a regular headphone set.

Do you have the issue on speakers?
