Adding a Dissolve effect on a cut video

Hi,

I've got a video i need to read repeat and i want a dissolve effect between. I cut the last second because it's useless and duplicate the video. But if i want to add a dissolve effect on both, it doesn't work.

Do you know why ?

It is probably working but you are not seeing anything as the frames are the same.

Same as if you have a clip, make a cut in the middle and add a cross dissolve. It works but you are not seeing anything as the dissolve is using the same frames. In orde to see it work you need to cut back/trim the clip on both sides.
