Adobe Premiere No Longer Taking XML files?

Is Adobe Premiere/Creative Cloud no longer supporting XML files? At work we film on CF cards and drag & drop the CLIPS folders from the cards and into a project folder, and import those folders into Premiere without issue (Premiere would weed out the not supported components and import the XML files).

A few of our projects (after successfully importing the XML files) now have all the media offline, even though they are in the exact same spot and haven't moved. Re-importing the footage just says the file format is not supported and gives us nothing.

I would say there seems to be a sort of time-stamp on this issue as more recent projects that were made within the past few days or past month still have their media online and working, but for example a project from Memorial Day is ok, where as a project from the first week in June, is not.

Is this a new update or bug with Adobe Creative Cloud?
