After efects clips will only Import to Premiere Pro if the file is open.

I am trying to import my edited after effects clips to my premier pro proojects, but they will only import if the actuale after effects clip is open in after effects. I did't have to do this before. Any idea on why this is and if it can be changed?

Are you getting any error message when trying to import your .aep file?
