Any way to show side by side, selected layers on one side and selected layers on the other?

I'm updating an existing timeline from 720P to 1080P and all the graphics are new, but it would be really helpful to be able to see the old timeline at the same time as I see the new one (in sync).  So far, I've been doing it "kind of" with opacity, but it really is not good enough.

Open to other ideas.

Try using multicam.
