I have lots of .MXF files downloaded from a large archive database. For offline editing, transcoding to GoPro Cineform .mov, all works fine.
Then when I pass to a remote editor, who is just connecting to the proxies, their project crashes when they try to link the proxies. It sometimes works to re-connect the proxies in a separate project, then re-import those clips into their master project.
What is causing the project to crash?
We are both on iMacs, MacOS 11.2.2, Premiere Pro 2021 v14.9
